Marijuana health has both long-term and short-term effects on the brain. For short-term effects, When a person inhales marijuana, THC goes swiftly into the blood system from the lungs. The blood holds the chemical across the body, to our brain and other organs. If the individual eats or drinks it the body absorbs THC more slowly. In this case, the effects are usually felt after half an hour – 1 hour. For long-term effects, Marijuana also has an influence on cognitive development. When people start using cannabis as adolescents, the drug could impair functions of memory, learning, and thinking and affect how well the brain builds contacts between the objective determination for these features. Research teams are also researching how long the effects of cannabis last, and whether those changes can be lasting.
